Advantage Plans

In Medicare, You have choices. First is Your choice of coverage.

Original Medicare is made up of Part A and Part B. But you can choose Part C also known as, an Advantage Plan.

Medicare Advantage plans, offered by private insurance companies, combine the benefits of Part A and Part B and usually Part D (prescription drug benefit). Some Advantage Plans include extras:

  • Dental care

  • Hearing

  • Vision

  • Gym memberships

To enroll in a Part C/Advantage Plan, You must be enrolled in Parts A and B. You will continue to pay your Part B premium. You must live within the Advantage Plan's coverage area.
